Great early dinner at the Granary Tavern with my parents and husband. We had an indoor reservation but they let us sit down 20 minutes early outside. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious, the Boston dip sandwiches were tender and the fries were good too. The clam chowder was heavy on the milk and potato—rich and flavorful but probably not the heartiest clam chowder in town. The outdoor patio atmosphere was perfect and the service was quick and friendly. The restaurant opens its doors to the open air, so even indoor dining would feel al fresco on summer nights.

Last night, on a rainy Sunday, 18 of us ladies got off a sunset cruise for a ladies’ night out. The sunset cruise was disappointing, and we were all walking around trying to find a place to eat. Matt welcomed us in, gathered his staff, and in no time we were settled in with laughter and fun. Eliana and Stefany were amazing — taking our orders, getting us seated, and being so attentive throughout the evening.
