I had the pork carnitas nachos with green chili and not sure where it was coming from but I had a bad taste it may of been in the base of the green chili it wasn’t the chips or the pork. So I am dropping one star but could of went lower. I hope there isn’t anything wrong with it will report back if so.

So delicious and they mix the ingredients in the burrito before folding it, love this! Great customer service and food. Drive around and eventually you'll find a spot, its not to bad. Its worth the time. Great shops and restaurants on Pearl st.

I come to Illegal Pete’s all the time and it’s usually very consistent but this time I was left quite disappointed. It was an empty Sunday night and I got a togo quesadilla which had just a few chunks of meat in it. For $13 they shouldn’t skimp on the meat especially since the other ingredients are just cheese and tortilla. Staff is always friendly though.

Awesome food all around and even better staff. The shop was layed back but really efficient and the food is so fresh. The food is like chipotle on steroids. As long as I’m in Boulder I’ll never go to chipotle while Illegal Pete’s is open.
