I had the tri-tip nachos—meat grilled perfectly, massive portions, and the hot salsa packed just the right amount of heat. Loved the variety of toppings (the calabacitas with fajita veggies was a delicious combo). The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and since it was the off-season it wasn’t too busy—though I can see this place being lively on a Friday night with its two bars (upstairs and downstairs) plus patio seating. Jay Dale Smith★★★★My family wanted to check out the University of Arizona on the way to the airport. We needed a quick bite before our flight and landed here. The staff was super friendly. They were patient with us as we ordered. The food was fast and the portions were generous. This place is better than most of the walk up and order Mexican chain restaurants. There was plenty of indoor seating. They had a nice bar and awesome outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was lovely. You should definitely check out Illegal Pete’s!
Jessica★★★A bit pricey, for what you get, probably because it's next to a college, and we waited a good 5+ min at the bar before the bartender got there. It could be because it was a little busy and there aren't enough waiters, but we almost left before she got there. I got the peach cocktail, but for having the word peach in the name it didn't taste very peachy, it could be it was diluted a bit. Overall the vibe was kind of cool, but I don't think we'll be back, too much of a college scene for me
