The Buren (Broadway, Brooklyn) A nice neighborhood coffee shop with good-quality coffee that’s definitely better than Starbucks. The drinks are smooth and well balanced, not watery or overly sweet. Cozy atmosphere and a great local spot to grab coffee.

I live in the area and remember when the restaurant opened. Still really great quality food after all these years. I love the chicken sandwich (with the pita chips and hummus) and then my wife gets the grilled chicken bowl. The bowl is healthy and delicious and I highly recommend the pork adobo bowl too. George is a great guy too so I guess I’m biased.
