Scratch is a local chain with an eye toward healthy and homey eating with Asian twists. So of course, I loved one of the most calorie-dense items on their menu. 😄 The pimento-cheese wontons were delicious! They are stuffed with smoked pimento cheese, corn, and scallions, and served on top of a red pepper jam for dipping. Each warm, creamy bite was worth it, but I did feel grateful for the much healthier buddha bowl I had for my main course. Went on a Saturday about 2:50 pm and we had just missed the brunch, but thats okay we know for next time. Emma was our server, we ordered a few drinks and appetizers. When the drinks came out they were fantastic. I had the Peach old Fashioned and my wife had the Spicy Apricot Margarita. The old fashioned was very smooth and tasty, the Margarita was very good but not too spicy until you bit into the pepper.
