The Gourmez★★★★Scratch is a local chain with an eye toward healthy and homey eating with Asian twists. So of course, I loved one of the most calorie-dense items on their menu. 😄 The pimento-cheese wontons were delicious! They are stuffed with smoked pimento cheese, corn, and scallions, and served on top of a red pepper jam for dipping. Each warm, creamy bite was worth it, but I did feel grateful for the much healthier buddha bowl I had for my main course. That had lots of great textures and crunch with vibrant dressing and simply preparations--it tasted like I was taking care of myself. The housemade, comp
Chris Staffa★★★★★Went on a Saturday about 2:50 pm and we had just missed the brunch, but thats okay we know for next time. Emma was our server, we ordered a few drinks and appetizers. When the drinks came out they were fantastic. I had the Peach old Fashioned and my wife had the Spicy Apricot Margarita. For appetizers that we ordered were the Firecracker shrimp and pork belly bites. Both fantastic! (Sorry no pics of those) For main course meals our family ordered shrimp and grits, Bibimb

The bread was toasted just enough to add texture but still soft enough that it didn’t scratch the roof of your mouth a small detail, but one that makes a big difference. The Korean-style mayonnaise was ph

Our choices: Green Tomato Stacks appetizer with creamed feta and red pepper jam between layers. Entrees: Shrimp and Grits with pork belly and a zingy gochugaru sauce. Cast Iron Chicken which was a beer-brined, lemon-rosemary half chicken atop perfectly executed caramelized brussel sprouts and butternut squash served in a cast iron skillet that kept it warm start to finish. Valentine's evening was busy but a 30-minute wait was more than made up for by Carly's quick service, comfortable booth seating an
