Cesar Hinojosa★★★★★The Block & Bottle was a great brunch experience and a spot I’d happily return to. The standout for me was the Breakfast Hangover Burger. The combination of smoked ham, egg, avocado, cheese, jalapeños, onion straws, and sriracha aioli was surprisingly balanced and incredibly flavorful. We also enjoyed the Monte Cristo, which was crispy, cheesy, and well executed, along with the fresh warm donuts for dessert. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything arrived promptly. Overall, a really enjoyable meal and a restaurant that’s well worth visiting if you’re in Castle Rock.

I decided on the Cajun shrimp and lobster linguine. It was a very flavorful dish! Really well done! I was really impressed with our server. His name was Joey. He was so friendly, accommodating, and eager to please! He is excellent at what he does!! We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. The restaurant was emaculate and attractive. Our server/bartender, Oliver, was the 6th out of 5 stars. If you like rum drinks and he is working, ask him for an “Oliver’s Twist”(on a daiquiri) it is amazing.
