I made a reservation at Half Nelson for dinner from out of town, and we were not disappointed one bit! I have dairy, gluten, and peanut allergies and our waiter was incredibly versed in the menu and immediately knew what items the chef could modify. He shared that they are working towards a fully gf menu! I had lots of choices available to choose from. I had the pork collar el pastor and it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time! The epitome of fine dining but in a relaxed atmosphere. The employees are all friendly, unique, and down to earth. Our server, Alexis, was professional and attentive without the slightest bit of stuffiness! Better still, the food is incredible. As good as anything from a Michelin rated kitchen, hands down. Make this a must of you are anywhere in the area! My husband had a 32 Hour Braised Short Rib while I had their house made Goat Cheese Agnolotti. Superb!!!
