The Plus is one of those places that clearly has a lot going on and does most of it well. It definitely leans dive bar in vibe, which is not entirely my scene, but there’s no denying the energy and the variety. I went twice. Once late at night since they’re one of the few spots open until 2:00, and once earlier when it was much busier. The second visit really showed what the place is about, with bingo happening, a mix of older and younger crowds, and a concert later in the evening. Amazing pizza and vibes. We got the sweet chili pizza and it was top notch! The bartender was extremely attentive, friendly and informative and the prices were reasonable. $40 for a pizza, appetizer, 3 ciders, and a milk for our toddler. Would definitely come here again!

Went tonight to see a comedy show - pro tip if you can’t find street parking use the nearby municipal ramp - $2.25 total for four hours. Habanero Mango wings were tasty but weren’t hot enough (something I’m used to in the upper Midwest but c’mon - if you use the word “habanero” please mean it). Spirits were not generous pours but the bill wasn’t as bad as it would be other places. Wait staff and kitchen seemed a bit over taxed by the show crowd size but they were very friendly. Lastly the show was great and tickets were pleasantly affordable.
