I stopped in Shoney’s for a bite to eat while cruising on my motorcycle. I was instantly greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I was escorted to a table and seated right away and given a menu. The waitress came right away and was very friendly. She asked what I wanted to drink and if I knew what I wanted or did I need more time. I told here I knew what I wanted and she took my order. In no time, my food was delivered and I was actually shocked at the site in front of me. The burger was HUGE!! I had ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. It took a while but somehow I managed to eat it all!

So my brother and I were feeling nostalgic and decided to hit up the Shoney's in etown for the first time in years for the breakfast bar. The buffet was well stocked, everything tasted pretty good (the bacon was a little over done when we got there but the second round they put out was great) Server was friendly and kept our drinks full and for a buffet it wasn't that expensive. I mean it's Shoney's, so don't expect 5 star dining lol but for the price and what it is, it was pretty damn good! If I had ANY complaint, nearly every table was dirty when we got there, so our hostess had to wander

Shoney's, the great American eatery found in the Southern U.S. Every time we go down south we're sure to stop and get a bite to eat! Nice selection of food, great breakfast buffet or dinner buffet, plus their desserts are awesome too! My only knock on Shoney's is sometimes it's a little dirty and sometimes the other customer can be loud or unruly. Don't let this deter you from enjoying Shoney's though, these minor problems won't ruin your dining experience. Next time your visiting the Southern U.S. be sure to try Shoney's!!
