We went for Easter Brunch and the food did not disappoint. Really cool inside and it’s a non profit and they own the buildings and two business around it. Overall it was a great experience and the food was really delicious, far exceeded my expectations! They charge 19% on top of the bill so they can give their hourly employees a livable wage, health benefits, and financial assistance. I’m happy to support businesses with those ethics!

Went here for brunch before the UConn game and it was so good. Found 3 spots at the bar and were waited on quickly. I got the arepas which were awesome, kind of like a fancy McGriddle and it came with their chips which were also great. The cinnamon roll was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Through the grapevine (social media pages I follow), we heard that Chef Van Hurd from Season 6 of Hell's Kitchen was now the executive chef here at Fire By Forge! So naturally, we pulled up to check it out! (Disclaimer: Chef told me that he was so new there that his featured items hadn't hit the menu at that time. Disorganized staff did not tell the kitchen my order-- yes, they are trained here in their culinary program. I sat there for 20 min watching other people serve their food. Had I not intervened and flag down my spaced-out waiter, I would have been waiting longer. Food was OK. I was happy to get out of there. This is a non-profit raising money to pay their salaries. If curious, Google how much their CEO makes a year.
