Gotan Hoboken is by far the best restaurant and coffee shop you can visit in the Hoboken area. The food is fantastic, the menu is not only creative but there's a very good variety of healthy options to choose from (the Mediterranean options should be your first choice!). The atmosphere is great for working on your laptop, background noise is always kept to a minimum, seating is placed comfortably apart from each other with plenty of locations within the restaurant to choose from. Wanted to give this place high reviews because food, service, and atmosphere are all 5/5, but it was very cold here, likely due to the high ceilings, I wore my heavy jacket the whole time, which is not comfortable nor what I expect of enjoying time at a cafe. It’s also 20 degrees outside so I get this is hard, but disappointing. Although, I didn’t see if the second floor is warmer 🤔There was an upcharge on alternative milks making the matcha latte $8 which is high compared to Starbucks/other area options, and it was very thick/dark, so much it stains lips, so wouldn’t recommend and I drink AL

This is quality food and drink. The atmosphere is nice. The space is open. I couldn’t even believe how big it felt when I walked in. I was used to the closed in spaces of NYC but the interior design of Gotham is great. The sandwich and drinks we had were delicious. Actually, I LOVED my iced coffee and my wife’s lemonade. The sandwich seemed to be made of real ingredients as I stayed full for much longer than usual after eating a sandwich this size.
