Was in the area looking for a dessert place and found this one highly recommend online. I was excited to see gluten free options and a lot of unique small cakes and baked goods. I got the tiramisu cheesecake for my husband and I got a gluten free spiced carrot cake muffin. The staff was not the most friendly but the baked goods were so good that I will be returning to check out more of the menu. They did seem to have a good amount of seating and it was quiet when I went so this would be a great place for a date or quiet place to study.

First time visiting this shop with my sister. The atmosphere and overall look of the store were really cute and inviting. Unfortunately, our experience changed when we went to place our order. I live very close to Red Dessert, I’ve been enjoying their coffee, treats, and hospitality since they opened. I cannot imagine why a couple of the reviews disparaged the staff! In the years I’ve frequented RD, I’ve seen many employees come and go, but I’ve never seen any of them “mistreating” any of the customers-quite the opposite! I have order cakes from Red before. Their cakes are typically moist with bold flavor. However, this 6in Lemon Blueberry cake was like eating 8 day old cornbread with really sweet cream cheese frosting. The taste of the frosting was so overwhelming that it was hard to find the lemon flavor and texture was dry. I always allow their cakes sit out a few hours before cutting, this did not make a difference in the texture. I suppose they were having an off day.
