The chai latte was good, made with maple syrup to sweeten and had a good balance of spice. The caramelized French toast was very good! I added the Chantilly cream and blueberries for an extra charge but was worth it. I didn’t even use maple syrup as these are already pretty sweet and delicious the way they are. I grew up in La Jolla, so I have been coming to this street for decades to dine and can honestly say Shorehouse Kitchen is one of my favorites, in terms of breakfast. We stopped in this morning for brunch and had a wonderful meal. We were a party of four and arrived around 9:30 and did not have to wait at all for a table. Inside is quite large they have outdoor and indoor seating available and many different table size options. Our server was polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. This place was delish and so reasonably priced! The coffee was honestly my favorite we found in the area, and their house-made ingredients really take everything to the next level. If you want to try something a little different, I definitely recommend the chilaquiles, and mix the red and green sauces!! So good. Service was great, the wait time was reasonable, and getting on the online list before you come makes the whole experience even easier.

Lots of creative dishes and the ones I tried were excellent. Nice space although it gets busy at peak times so you might have a wait mid morning on weekends. Servers excellent, they separated our meals into two plates when we mentioned we were going to share them. I liked the smoothie.
