The food here is absolutely terrific!!! We came here for happy hour, and we’re absolutely blown away by this little hole in the wall. The server, Troy was super kind and took care of us. We loved his humor and recommendations. We got the classic pizza and ask for hot honey on the side. Some of the best pizza we’ve had outside of Tribute and Buona Forchetta! We came back the next day for more! The deep fried Brussel sprouts are divine. The meat salad is also pretty great. A solid date night spot that never seems too busy. We love it here.

Just happened on this little gem of a restaurant while wandering in La Jolla. There's a great deck where you can sit and watch the world go by. The food was excellent. Good non-alcoholic beer selection. The service was okay, nice but a bit slow and put in the wrong order.

Went on date here and showed up on a whim having not researched anything in advance. The location is nice but the e outdoor patio is slanted and some of the high tops are very uncomfortable. Furthermore, my wife was extremely disappointed with the salad. Ingredients were fresh but it was just bland. Same with my sandwich. Unfortunately, will not be returning.

Had a great dinner at Wheat & Water. Pizza had that perfect thin crust with a little char, and the toppings tasted super fresh without being overdone. Pasta was simple but really well balanced and full of flavor. The place has a busy, local feel but service stayed on point the whole time. Staff was friendly and everything came out pretty quick for how packed it was. Solid neighborhood-style spot right near the coast.
