On the first day of our vacation I asked Google for the best restaurant in Lafayette Louisiana and this was the 2nd place that popped up in review, well let me tell you it should be the 1st. From the moment we walked it the whole vibe here is incredible. The restaurant is decorated in traditional New Orleans flair and everyone we encountered from Kim the hostess to our super friendly and knowledgeable waitress Gracey D to Kristie the Manager who inquired on the quality of our meal and the Bartender who made me a perfect Old Fashioned everyone here receives my highest marks. **Now the food** 1

Great authentic Louisiana grill, very cute interior, good service and yummy food. For the price of the Catfish I think it should have included the red beans, the plain white rice really took from it. The bang bang alligator po boy was by far the best. The sweet potato mash was also really good. They have a great dessert menu as well, the creme brulee cheesecake is what we chose 10/10 there. Our server was very friendly and attentive with drink refills.

I enjoyed my dinner and drinks very much. Only thing not to my liking, nor to the likings of a few people at the table, was the crawfish etouffee...the tail meat were very mushy overcooked. We all agreed it wasn't good. But the crab dip appetizer and my grilled fish. Corn macque choux, and the potatoes were delicious. Service was fantastic. Great service from all the staff.

Dinner was a hit again. Pepper jack Boudin Balls as an appetizer. We both had Crawfish Etouffee (perfectly cooked crawfish) w/ a grilled veggie skewer. The pappy in law had a salad and I had Corn Maque Choux. All superb! Both of us have leftovers.
