Pickleman’s downtown on Mass gets an easy 5 stars from me. Delivery was fast and everything arrived hot and fresh. The Italian beef was excellent — tender meat, perfect spicy giardiniera, and the au jus had great flavor. The pizza was also a solid 5 stars. Definitely one of the better delivery spots downtown.

Stop in here sometimes for lunch. They have great sandwiches and the combo meals are well priced. The staff is attentive, friendly and order to plate time is quick. Love the fresh brewed ice tea and fresh cut lemons. I haven’t tried the pizza but it smells and looks great when customers next to me are eating it. ADA compliant entry and tables in the back are too. The staff doesn’t turn over so it’s easy to make some friends if you swing by often. Give them a try. I like their sandwiches better than others in town.

I took a group of 12 middle school boys here to eat in a huge rush during a field trip. not only did they get our order accurate, they did it so quickly since they knew we were in a hurry. I communicated to staff that the boys were on a field trip and they gave each of them a chocolate chip cookie on the house with their lunch. Business that supports young folks is the kind of business I love to support! Thank you to the staff for making the outing memorable! and the hungry group of pre-teen boys devoured the pizza!
