Great community coffee shop. I’m not sure what the reviews about staff being “unfriendly” or “kicking out houseless people” are on about. The staff are serving the community they live in with authenticity and lots of regulars clearly become friends. It’s a large community-oriented place, it’s way too big a space for someone to great you from the counter like some reviewers mention (they’d be yelling over everyone there), and I have observed several times staff members helping houseless people in medical crisis, watching their stuff, etc. btw if you’ve worked in food service you know cash polic

Coffee was okay. People who took my order were indifferent at best. The place was nice and roomy. Great area to read or focus on work. Wouldn’t mind going there often if the coffee was better.

Very disappointed to learn this was a cashless coffee shop. They have lots of community signs and locals shows and events posted, leading me to believe they are an active community space but being cashless loses all of that integrity for me. Not accepting cash hurts vulnerable community members without access to digital funds and is just annoying as most folks don't want a digital trail of their daily minor spending. I hope that if being cashless is the path they continue on they add in a backup contingency plan for folks who need something to drink or eat and don't have anything other than

Honestly pretty mid. The coffee is okay, the matcha was poor, but there’s plenty of seating. I’ve gone a few times to give it more of a chance and if it weren’t so conveniently located I probably wouldn’t go back. The staff is not hospitable, they hardly acknowledge you as a person, they are clearly going through the motions of a transaction, and I’m a very friendly patron who goes out of their way to try and treat everyone like they’re a human.
