Went to Saffron NOLA tonight and honestly this place was such a cool surprise. One of the best me and my partner have tried in the US. Perfect for date night! The drinks alone were enough to make the night memorable. The saffron Old Fashioned with mango chutney and bitters was insane. One of those cocktails where every sip tastes a little different. Then we ordered “Lime in the Coconut” with gin, curry leaf, and mustard seed and I swear I’ve never had anything like it before. Weird on paper. Made the very wise decision to choose Saffron Nola on Magazine St for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Even for a Wednesday night, the place had a robust crowd, but we were welcomed immediately and seated quickly. Our server was extremely prompt and attentive, clearing plates and cups the second we finished. ​The food here is the real deal. The Chicken Lasooni had insane flavor with an exceptional sauce.
