My first time visiting Jason's Deli~ I ordered the Reuben Great, Mac n Cheese, and their Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salad~ I give my visit a 4.5 rating. If it was just based on the taste of the food, it's a 4.2 rating. But then why am I giving it a 4.5 rating? All the food I ate was solid, the Reuben was a great portion of food but I do wish the bread held up better bc it got a bit soggy, the Mac n cheese was good, and the roasted corn and black bean salad was a bit spicy, which was unexpected, but it was decent. This place is always filled on Sundays and during lunch hours which amazes me because there's not really a pole of offices around to drive that business. So what you see is family and and other people who just want a good deli sandwich. Outstanding salad bar. Their sandwiches are very good and I've never had anything here that wasn't hot or fresh or perfectly proportioned. My only complaint is that the front counter staff taking the orders have a very low level of enthusiasm. Jason’s Deli has beef stew on a seasonal basis and I look forward to it every fall/winter because I enjoy it tremendously. This time, however, it was garbage and tasted worse than canned stew. The meat appeared undercooked, there were several pieces of fat and almost zero vegetables. I could only find a few pieces of mushroom, about a dozen peas and three very small pieces of carrot. They have really had to increase their prices. For lunch I had a half sandwich, half side salad for lunch. He ordered the same. One drink and one water - spent over $34. :( Love Jason's Deli but can't afford it anymore.
