Carrie Lovett★On June 20th, we celebrated my mom’s 90th birthday. With friends and family coming from near and far, we chose La Bodega’s enclosed patio for the event. While we were told the patio area likely wouldn’t be cold, we were assured it would be comfortable and a great space for the older guests attending. We were told on multiple occasions that it was air-conditioned, that ice would be kept in the coolers, and that several fans would be available if more than the A/C and coolers were needed. It was 105 degrees outside, so we knew it would be a hot day. However, it was 96 degrees inside the patio.

We were sat very close to other diners (close enough to hear each others conversations) even though there were plenty of empty seats. 2) Service. Staff is NICE, however not very attentive. Salsa was not refilled. Food was slow to come out, which was ok, we were not in a hurry. 3)Food. Salsa is GREAT. Was served Fajitas. The Guac and Pico served with it was bad. Was old. I would guess at least 8+ hours. Looked nasty. We were there at roughly 5:30pm. There should be fresh guac &
Shari Henson★★★★The stuffed jalapenos were amazing! A big win. The chicken enchiladas were OK, but I wasn't impressed. I asked for pinto beans, but was given refried beans (which I do not like). My margarita was very good, and the salsa was very good too. The waitresses were very friendly.

My dad always ordered the chili rellenos with the pecans and raisins. it wasn’t ever something that I wanted to try but then one day he gave me a bite and it’s always my go to dish! I highly recommend giving it a try. If you’re hesitant because of the raisins and pecans, get them on the side. it is an amazing dish and introduced it to my Filipino wife, who immediately fell in love with the chili rellenos! We’ll be back for more one day again when we visit midland!! Service was so bad I had to get up and get m
