Le★★★The ramen is smooth with the perfect amount of chewiness and yellow glossiness. The mugi miso ramen broth was rich and full of depth. The flavor profile of the broth was full bodied, creamy and robust even with a touch of nuttiness. The shoyu ramen bowl was dark, smoky and salty to an extent. It was good for the first few bites, but some may find it too much on the soy sauce profile making it hard to finish. Very solid bowl of ramen and the broths have a lot of character so it depends on which flavor suits your taste buds.
Terence Beebe★★★★★We came back to this spot after being absent for 6 years and it is just as delicious as it was the very first time we ate here. Our go to is the Veggie ramen and my wife always gets hers topped with the vegan spice bomb and it was so delicious. We got to the restaurant and as soon as they opened we walked in and got our seats and were greeted by the absolutely amazing staff. I understand and have understood for a while why this place is so popular because we sat down as soon as they opened at 11:30 and within 10 minutes the entire place was full. That is a testament to how absolutely deliciou
Paul Biehl★★★I was honestly not super convinced by DAIKAYA. I expected the broth to be way richer in flavor. Also, the ingredients like the Chashu tasted nice, but was partially still cold when I took it out of my broth. Same counts for the egg, which was cold when I opened it. Also, the ramen noodles were a bit too hard still in my opinion. Overall, I believe most things should be fine, if the cook let the ramen sit for 1/2 minutes before it’s served. But serving it immediately to a hungry guest causes the food to not be yet fully ready, and items which are put into the broth from the fridge not to be ful
Marissa McNeil★★★★The ramen was delicious! This is a spot to pop into on a cold night when you’re craving a quick bite. By no means 5-Star service or fancy atmosphere where you bring a group of 6 people to eat and drink all night. Just good food and quick, easy service. Small space, jugs of water left on the table, and paying on your phone. Simple. Would recommend and will be back.
