At first I was shocked to pay $17 for a drink and a bowl but then I tasted the food and it reminded me of my grandmas house on Saturday afternoons with the family. Crazy how food from a fast food restaurant can take you through time. There was no disgusting fat on the pork like there is with mo bettahs and the rice and Mac salad were definitely a stand out. Thank you to the owners and to the cooks who made this. They also brought back the burgers that I remembered they removed for a while, at least from my location.

This Rumbi is one of our go-to spots. When the Kahuna burger was added to the menu it was the only burger. It was like someone said Design me the best burger possible, and that’s what they did and added it to the menu. Love it! Has a teri sauce and pineapple ring (from a can, but still delicious). Perla is great and I think she knows my voice over the phone. I usually get a takeout order and call it in over the phone so there is no wait. I recommend the sweet potato fries, and the blackened mahi mahi is also very good and comes with an excellent salad.

Really good standard Rumbi food. And the restaurant was clean. Though it was a little strange how much one of the workers kept coming over to our table and cleaning things up as we were just trying to talk ( in a group of about 8 of us). Alsmost felt like she was trying to get us to leave, but we had not been there super long. And the place was mostly empty. So maybe she was just trying to be attentive. Not sure, but it kept messing with our ability to just relax and have a nice conversation over our meal.

I had a disappointing experience. The cashier was rude and seemed irritated when I politely let them know my order was incorrect. Instead of fixing the mistake professionally, she rolled her eyes and made it feel like I was the problem. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t very tasteful either. Overall, the service and quality were not what I expected, and it made for a frustrating visit.
