Lindsey Swanson★Used to be the best Mexican food in Novato but no longer even palatable. Ordered a fajita burrito special from DoorDash for $19. It lists all these ingredients like guac, salsa, cheese, sour cream, tofu, peppers etc. instead it’s literally just dry black beans and rice with some tofu. No flavor, and none of the listed ingredients. I never do this but it was so dry that I threw it out.

The bean dip was a standout and takes the food from 4 stars to 5. Will be back to explore more of the menu and to stray from the tortilla, meat, rice permutations.

Most places can't do it right but they nail it! Another indicator is their beans and rice and they do a good job of that too! Edit: 2021. It seems that there has been some minor changes to the dishes. It doesn't quite have the flavor it used to have but it is still a good go-to and the outdoor seating is nice in these times.
