Used to be the best Mexican food in Novato but no longer even palatable. Ordered a fajita burrito special from DoorDash for $19. It lists all these ingredients like guac, salsa, cheese, sour cream, tofu, peppers etc. instead it’s literally just dry black beans and rice with some tofu. No flavor, and none of the listed ingredients. I never do this but it was so dry that I threw it out.

I've been here many times over the years for their tacos and burritos but never for breakfast. What a mistake. The best Mexican breakfast in town!! The Huevos Motoleños and the Huevos Rancheros were OMG

Solid food. We got the steak chimichanga and steak quesadilla. Nothing mind-blowing but tasty and satisfying. Chips are above average too. The bean dip was a standout and takes the food from 4 stars to 5. Will be back to explore more of the menu and to stray from the tortilla, meat, rice permutations.

This is a great spot to take the family or friends. They have a nice range of homemade salsa's but what really set's this place apart from the rest is their Al Pastor. Most places can't do it right but they nail it! Another indicator is their beans and rice and they do a good job of that too! Edit: 2021. It seems that there has been some minor changes to the dishes. It doesn't quite have the flavor it used to have but it is still a good go-to and the outdoor seating is nice in these times.
