So, I stopped at the Sugar Cane restaurant yesterday for lunch. There was about four of the tables seated. The waitress who seated me sat me right beside a table with two children who were very loud. Don't get me wrong children are children and I don't mind their presence at all. Just not right against my back . I asked to sit at another table when my waiter came to take my order. The lady who sat me kind of laughed and snickered as I switched tables. Obviously she had no respect for where she was putting me. They don't mess around here at Sugar Cane. Everything was prepared and made with skill and love. We ordered about a month ago and were so excited we finally found a Chinese restaurant that was really good, THEN we ordered tonight, basically the same as we ordered last month and it was very disappointing. The boneless ribs and beef teriyaki were so dry they weren’t edible, the egg foo yung was burnt on the bottom and gravy was not typical gravy for that meal. The crab Rangoon had no flavor and the edges were burnt. 🥵

What a find. Love love love sugar cane. Great drinks, impeccable dishes, consistency, very nice people. Also love that it’s open all day, so can eat even during “off” hours between traditional lunch & dinner time. One of the best values around.
