Staff were all very kind and helpful when shopping recently, although they seem to have a small group. I was greeted, helped as soon as someone was available, and even offered to order the single book they had out of stock (I got all other titles I was looking for). While I had a nice experience, it was sad to see a person from the Starbucks/café place scrambling between the stockroom gathering supplies, and taking orders seemingly alone? Got a delicious drink though! The very few employees I saw were helping others, then trying to come help at the register. Lack of staffing is more and more

Do not bother to go over to Starbucks while at Barnes & Noble; was there yesterday afternoon (4/13) worker was rude and really didn't want to take any orders. We were the only people there and they went running in the back when they noticed us coming. Why work there?

Aisles and aisles of beautiful books full of wonder and magic! Side by side with Starbucks famous pumpkin spice latte and yummy snacks, and I'm in there for hours. The staff are all knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Then add in the fact that although they sell books, no one tries to sell you books. Being a mom of three, a wife, and an honors student it's hard to study at home sometimes. Barnes n Nobles and Starbucks' combined make for the feel of a mini get away and still provides the perfect study haven.
