I drove 40 mins in LA traffic to try this place. While the service was solid and food wasn't bad, hard to give it more than a 3/5 for the buffet. Having spent much time all over Mexico, I found the food here just salty and lacking depth. Nice Enough people and decor to give it a try... maybe my taste buds were off today.

Went here for the chilaquiles plate. Chilaquiles is a Mexican dish for those who do not know, are fried corn tortilla chips and cooked in either red or green chile sauce topped with cheese and Mexican Crema (sour cream sauce). Usually served with over easy eggs or eggs scrambled and incorporated into the dish for breakfast. I went wth the red sauce. The texture was perfect. I like to have a little crunch when I take a bite. Sometimes the chips can get softened when cooked in the sauce too long. Not the case here though!
