Absolutely delicious food and the literal best coffee you’ll ever have in your life. Make sure to order the coffee early as they roast the beans in a pot and it comes out later in beautiful presentation. Low key and quiet atmosphere, prices are very fair. Been going to this place for years, such a gem!

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The food, wine and coffee were all very good. Portion size of the food was more than enough for one person! Everything is super fresh and you can tell the care that goes into it. Highly recommend stopping by this great owner operated restaurant!

I visited this restaurant recently and wanted to support a local business, but I was surprised by the pricing. The menu listed the okra dish and veggie combo at $14.99 each, and coffee at $5, but I was charged $21 for both dishes and $8 for the coffee. The portions didn’t seem consistent with the prices: the okra was very small, while the veggie combo included much more food. The staff didn’t mention that the prices had changed before charging. While the food itself was fine, the lack of transparency around pricing made the experience frustrating. I hope the restaurant considers clearly match

I cannot for the life of me understand why this place is empty when I walk past it. The food was exceptionally good, the service was quick and attentive, and the inside is pretty with nice music. The prices being completely reasonable for the amount is the cherry on top as well. I highly recommend this place, both for people who are familiar with eastern African food as well as those looking to try something new.
