Been a customer of Schiltz BBQ since the 90's and I am completely disappointed. Paid $20 for a brisket plate n baked potatoe where the brisket serving is not enough to make a sandwhich. Call in to resolve the issue and all I got was how expensive brisket is these days but no offered solution. If you pay then one ought to get your money's worth.

​I checked out Schulze's Bar-B-Que over the weekend, and overall, it was a great experience. The inside of the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. ​The Sides & Sausage: The sides completely stole the show. The corn casserole and fried okra were absolutely delicious and standout items. The green beans were solid, and the sausage had great flavor. The mac and cheese was incredibly creamy, though it just needed a tiny bit more seasoning to really pop. ​The Brisket & Ribs: I mainly went for the brisket, and flavor-wise, they nailed it. Love the sliced brisket sandwich, fried okra, potato salad, and cucumber salad. Love the black-eyed pea salad, too, but they quit making it because it didn't sell well. (Now I'm having to find a good recipe for it.) Half chicken also good. Not a fan of the chopped brisket sandwich. More like ground than chopped. Really unimpressed with corn casserole. Nothing like my mother's. I've found my favorite menu items and haven't tried anything else.

Really good spot. The chopped beef is more minced than chop. It has a texture like a sloppy joe which I liked. I added sausage to it because I’m wild.
