I have been coming here for years. The food is normally excellent. My favorite Middle Eastern food in the area. Picked up a tray for a family gathering today. As one of my guests was biting into a piece of kibbeh, he tasted a weird texture and mint flavor and spit it out. We found a piece of chewed up mint chewing gum inside the meat. I came to the place with the gum in a plastic bag to show them and ask for a refund. Tried to reason with the cook who came from the back to discuss it. Friday night my cousin ordered carry out from here (her and her husband have been long time customers for years). And I have gotten carry out from this place too because it was so good when I had it at my cousin's. Well, as my husband was chewing his kibbeh he discovered a piece of white mint gum in the kibbeh. He took it out of his mouth...showed us, stretched out the gum to prove it was gum, and it had a strong smell of mint. We were ALL in shock.
