I visited the restaurant for breakfast as I usually do, and I must say the atmosphere was relaxing, just like it always is. However, waitress Nicky G (1 star) was unacceptable. I started my meal with a hot cup of coffee and a glass of water with lemon, which is a regular request. The coffee she provided was at room temperature, and she seemed bothered when I asked for it hot. Her response was, “That was just made.” She never brought the lemons. Lola is a gem and usually the best part of this restaurant. That being said, the last two visits we have been there have been a disaster. From top to bottom. we went 06/07 and were seated with a friend at 10:30am, things seemed okay at first and then went downhill. My mom ordered the santafe skillet, over easy eggs. The server brought them out 3 times and none of them were right. when we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that the manager/owner was the one cooking eggs that were not coming out correctly. I ordered the club sandwich with seasoned fries, and wow—everything was hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious! The fries were perfectly golden and packed with flavor, and the sandwich was layered just right. You know I had to have my sandwich and fries with honey mustard. What made the experience even better was Kayla, our server. Even with a packed restaurant, she stayed calm, friendly, and incredibly attentive.
