Food is 100/10, service is slow but could have just been the particular day there was only one bartender/server for whole restaurant, they did just get Michelin star recognition so possibly busier than expected as well but worth the wait! Burger, gumbo & collards worth the hype, would try another side over French fries for my next visit! Will be back!!

I can see why the place has such great reviews. First time and was very happy. Service was great. Multiple wait staff checking to make sure everything is perfect. Food was so good. Muffuletta sandwich was exactly what we remembered in Nola. Also had the gumbo and pimento cheese. The crackers that came with the cheese were next level. So excited to go back and try more.

Five of us had such a great meal at Lucky 8. The atmosphere was unique and Jaiden our server was on pointe and so pleasant. We had all the popular items on the menu. See photos and captions for the amazing foods. When we told the manager - Austin that all was great except the crawfish was not visible in the crawfish etoufee as it had disintegrated into the sauce, he immediately offered to take it off the bill. Since we already ate half of it, we did not want to make a big deal. Austin being an exceptional and personable manager, give us a dessert instead - best ever percan pie with ice
