Amazing gem in Schenectady! They don’t make places like this anymore and I mean, 103 years in business must mean they are doing something right! Simple no thrill diner food that’s delicious in every aspect and super affordable! It’s the place you go where everyone knows your name and order as you walk in the door. It’s the place you go for a solid meal, at a reasonable price and where your patronage feels valued. Excited for my best meal here in the very near future!

Very friendly and attentive staff who were kind to me as a first time customer, but also on a first name basis with regulars. Other patrons were also very friendly. Perfectly sized portions of simple (by design) but very good food. Small and old fashioned atmosphere. Food came quickly. Price was right. Would recommend highly. I had lunch, but also overheard patrons complimenting the staff on breakfast. In business since 1921 according to the sign - longevity seems to be well deserved.

Very good place small, but classic diner food. Very good service, food came in 10 mins quiet atmosphere. I got the hamburger, very good but the burger was the perfect size. 6 oz

I don't know how this place is getting all these great reviews, I got 2 hot dogs with the works they did not taste good at all The meat sauce was bland and looked like pet food the hot dogs themselves had hardly any flavor. I took a few bites of the first dog and couldn't do no more I threw out the second one. I also got onion rings they had no flavor and was a bit burnt. The the staff was very nice the inside was nice and historic but for the quality of food that I had I will not be coming back
