My neighborhood exploration took me to oldest part of the Seattle…Pioneer Square. For lunch I stopped into the Central Saloon. Establish in 1892, it lays claim to the “Seattle’s oldest saloon.” I have been to the saloon for concerts, and it is a fantastic venue for live music. Today I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the tomato soup with grilled cheese. Wow it was delicious! The soup was lightly flavored with basil and parmesan cheese. The perfectly grilled sandwich was filled with two kinds of cheese. As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, I came here as a big grunge and Nirvana fan, wanted to experience an historic bar. World Cup Fifa game was also being played. So good vibes.

As a musician, this is a historic spot. Very Grungy atmosphere, really take in the posters and culture while you’re here. Best to come in pairs, in my experience. The stage is historic, it’s definitely worth the stop!
