I had a very disappointing experience at The Local @ JFK. The service was extremely inattentive — staff showed no interest in helping customers and even ignored me when I was trying to pay. I had to wait and repeatedly try to get their attention, which was frustrating, especially in an airport where people are often on a tight schedule. The place itself looked fine, but the lack of basic customer service really affected the overall experience. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff attentiveness. 25 dollars for a tiny pizza that was in my opinion worse than super market frozen pizza quality. Service was slow despite few customers. Unfortunately there are few restaurant options in JFK terminal 1. Eat before you get here.

We had a very disappointing experience at The Local in JFK Airport. We were a group of three, yet one staff member tried to seat us at a table for two in a very rude and disrespectful manner. Even though we clearly explained that we are three people and had ordered food and drinks, the staff member insisted in a very unfriendly way and did not show any willingness to find a proper solution.
