The service was extremely inattentive — staff showed no interest in helping customers and even ignored me when I was trying to pay. I had to wait and repeatedly try to get their attention, which was frustrating, especially in an airport where people are often on a tight schedule. The place itself looked fine, but the lack of basic customer service really affected the overall experience. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff attentiveness. Joel Boakye★We had a very disappointing experience at The Local in JFK Airport. We were a group of three, yet one staff member tried to seat us at a table for two in a very rude and disrespectful manner. Even though we clearly explained that we are three people and had ordered food and drinks, the staff member insisted in a very unfriendly way and did not show any willingness to find a proper solution. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. Given the situation and the lack of customer friendliness, we decided to leave and go to a different place instead.
