The staff here is awesome! We were looking for a place to watch the Badgers play in the NCAA Softball tournament with our young daughters and a couple of their friends. Varsity responded to questions on Facebook a few days before. Then when we got there they were already working to get the game on and they setup the projection screen at the end of the table for us. We've been here many times and thought it was time for a review. Great classic bar food with many choices for sides. Lunch is a nice treat here with excellent service and a quieter atmosphere than the evenings. Pickup is a handy and fast way to avoid the crowds that are often unavoidable at dinner time. We often pickup for fish fry. Very nice traditional fish fry on Friday, and it is served with rye bread as God intended. Don't miss the tartar sauce, and save some for your fries. It’s become our regular spot every other weekend while out shopping — until a recent visit when there was a mix-up with our bill. I had paid part in cash and part by card, but it seemed that only part of the cash was applied. Initially, the situation was frustrating, but after reaching out, Varsity responded promptly and professionally. They reviewed the transaction, confirmed the error, and corrected it right away.
