Love this place! Mayan provides a nice atmosphere with tastiest delicacies from Yucatan, Mexico. I always leave this place feeling content and never regretted ordering anything. Their vegan empanadas are also gluten free and tastiest I have ever had in my life. Their yucatan fries reminds me of a kind of tuber similar to Yam native to Coastal India. Other aspect of this place is the amount of options and modifications they provide on each item available and making sure that the food is completely gluten free and vegan with no cross contamination with 100% certainty in just mindblowing to me.

Our team visited Mayan Kitchen in Sunnyvale’s downtown on Murphy Avenue for lunch. One standout positive was their surprisingly large selection of vegan options, which can be hard to find in Mexican-style cuisine. This made it a convenient spot for a group with varied dietary preferences. My husband's found this place googling for elote. We'd been meaning to come here for a couple of years. Now that I finally have, I'm sad that we've been missing out. I had the quesacochinita with pork, he had the crispy shrimp taco, and we shared a plate of elotes. I strongly recommend all three! Service was excellent and quick. They brought us a lidded carafe (that didn't dribble!!!!!) of ice water with lemon peel. The napkins are large, absorbent, and highly effective!
