I was sorely dissatisfied upon my first visit over a year ago. Today was different. The food was good. The restaurant is spotless and tastefully decorated. Service was ok. The cost may be average but minimum of $15 for lite breakfast and $7 pancakes? The staff does not smile. That is not the end of the world. The reviews are faked. Most of the positive reviews feature professional looking photos of the food. Sample other restaurant reviews and you will find occasional photos, not a majority. We have gone here for lunch several times since they opened. Service is getting worse. Asked for the Chicken Strips and the Fish and Chips from the Dinners and Salads page. Have gotten them before on prior visits. This time we were told dinner wasn't served until 4pm. We could get it but not the whole dinner. For the same price! Does anyone understand what a diner is or do they expect a five star Michelin restaurant every time they go out? This is the question I want to ask everyone who's given bad reviews for Andy's Coffee Break. It's a diner and one of the best in our region. The menu is loaded up with classics and their take on American fare. They fill you up with dishes like a Country Haystack or a Chili Omelette. The Reuben is one of my favorites and they sure know how to make it perfect. Okay, I'll give some knock on service BUT they will make it up to you if you work with them. Don't be pushing so hard.
