OUTSTANDING local neighborhood sports bar. Am here visiting doing the monument/tourist thing with wifey, staying at the Hotel Washington and needed a place close to eat. Stumbled onto this place- advertised as DC's Oldest Sports Bar- and went in immediately. Food was delicious, recommend the Fish n' Chips, and the beer cold. All priced reasonably well. It's a local hangout for the young suits but the guy running it loves tourists. Service was elite and very welcoming- thanks Philip! Full of old DC Sports vibes too. Definite Five Stars here!

We flew to DC from Texas and just happened on this neighborhood pub a block from the White House. BEST find ever!!! Turns out it’s the oldest sports bar in DC in a great location! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly welcome, the bar/restaurant is clean with great lighting! I’m all about the lighting.. some places are too bright where you feel like you’re sitting in a diner, others too dark where you can’t even see the menu. It takes the perfect location for natural light through windows along with the right lights above the bar and through the restaurant. The Exchange S

Very friendly staff, attentive and good natured, had a wonderful experience with our waiter José, and the other waiters. Food was very flavorful, yet not too heavy. Best wings I’ve ever had, and the burgers were excellent, very diet friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
