Likely the best coffee I’ve had in the city, ever. Proper shop. I get their cappuccino, so simple and perfect. Do not sleep on the pain au chocolat. Comparably just as good if not better than what you’ll find in France. The salty on top is such a nice finish. Chefs kiss.

We were very lucky to have found METRIC when visiting the Logan Square/ Avondale neighborhood of Chicago! I ordered a vanilla latte and would have to say it was extremely well made, flavorful, and plentiful. The cinnamon bun also was delicious. The overall pricing was in-line with other coffee establishments. The venue has a great vibe with ample seating, a variety of decor, and the ability to see the "work areas" where the coffee appears to be processed/ground. There was a mix of moms with kids and people using this coffee spot to check their email, etc. I am so glad to have found METR
