A bit hit and miss for me. First, the good: the staff were friendly, the space / ambience is spot on and some dishes, like the Brussel sprouts & oysters, were delicious. Unfortunately, there were a few (in my opinion) not-so-good points: - Several of the dishes were a bit bland, or conversely had plenty of flavour, but flavours that (again, in my opinion) didn’t work too well. The tartare for example, was covered in a sauce that detracted from what makes tartare great, and didn’t really work. The focaccia too (at $24 for 4 small pieces) wasn’t anything special. - The prices - yes I get this

Went in on a Saturday afternoon, met warmly by the staff. Had some cocktails and delicious steak and oysters. The food was well presented, the flavour profile hit, and the oysters were so good that we ordered multiples to re-experience the flavour. The care taken by the bar staff of our cocktails, including special requests, was exceptional. It was a delight to have an afternoon tipple and a snack! Thank you so much!

Very good service, yummy food, nice relaxed atmosphere. Couldn’t decide between our favourite dish: the beef tartare, the Brussel sprouts (and popcorn!) and the coconut native mint jelly. Yummy drinks too: we had the jubilee cocktail and the muscat.

Quaint restaurant with great share plate options (although you can do individual if you’d prefer). Really enjoyed the food with some unique ingredients and flavours. Service friendly and on point without being over bearing. Was a little quiet for a Saturday lunch service but it may just be the time of year (3 Jan). Would recommend. A great find in Braddon.
