Stars&Snarks★★★★★Lovely artisan bakery on Swanston St with an amazing variety of flavours. Prices are a bit higher than usual, but the quality and freshness make it worth it. Super accessible location and consistently delicious pastries.
PY★★★★The croissant, cream cake & egg tart were light, fluffy, and full of flavour without being overly sweet. The truffle breads were delicious with a rich aroma in every bite, and the taro mochi pork floss egg tart was such a unique mix of buttery softness and crunch—literally tasted exactly like what it promised. The only thing that was different from my personal preference was the pretzel—the black sesame filling was lovely, though I think I would have enjoyed it more with a softer bun. It was a really enjoyable experience, and this is a spot worth visiting for something a little different.
Am I XNhi?★★★★★The pastry selection at #1000 is exactly my kind of thing. If you like Korean–Japanese style bakes with chewy textures and flavours like earl grey, matcha, and red bean, this place is basically heaven. I’m obsessed with the Matcha Mochi Adzuki Bagel: rich, nutty red bean filling, chewy mochi in the centre, and a soft, slightly chewy bagel. It’s also not overly sweet, so even a big portion doesn’t feel heavy. Prices are very reasonable too.
Siwanat Aomsin★★★★★I occasionally head to this bakery when I get a chance to get in the city. I would say this bakery shop is my so my type of bread. I love their honey butter toast 🍞🍯🧈 and also this black truffle baguette 🥖 I also love their egg tarts even though they’re a bit pricey🥹 moreover, the cashier is lovely and cute. Thanks for all your hard working ❤️
