If you're looking for a chef's hat fine dining experience showcasing some of the finest Australian food Perth has to offer with a good atmosphere, make Petition one of your go to restaurants. Situated in the heritage listed State Building, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining (with heating). The choice of of meals on this occasion was based on the chef's selection menu which had 7 menu items. The entree dishes with rockets, beetroot, walnuts was a nice ice breaker. Highly recommend Petition! Great service, very attentive & friendly. Loved the atmosphere, we chose to sit outside as it was a bit quieter. The food was amazing, all of it was delicious. The hi lights were the Oysters, Fish of the Day, which was Trout & the beautifully cooked Wagyu steak. The only things they could improve was the Broccolini, it was blanched rather than al dente and the venue needs more toilets. We will be back!

One of the best tasting restaurants in Perth. Pancakes were soft and not too sweet, with a slightly crispy surface. Chorizo was very tasty without being too salty.
