The carbonnade was rich, tender, and full of deep flavor, while the fries were perfectly crispy and fresh. The mussels were very good as well, cooked beautifully and served with a white wine broth. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and authentic, exactly what you hope for in a classic Belgian brasserie.
