The place is right out of the center of Leuven, in a very quiet and chill neighborhood. The waitress was very kind and the service overall was great. I went with my girlfriend, we ordered: the Flemish stew, vol au vent and the shrimp croquettes. The first two are served with a side to be chosen between mashed potatoes, fries,croquette, pasta or rice. Other than this you also can get a complimentary salad. I’m posting this review with a heavy heart… Today I was back in Leuven for the first time in 15 years and I was really excited to visit Timory, which was always my favourite restaurant when I lived here as a student. I was also excited to share this special place with my wife and child for the first time. Sadly those fond memories were tarnished by today’s experience. Nice place in a calm neighborhood. The food was very good and the service was also fine. A downside is that they have a very large menu which could mean they can’t make everything very well. I ordered the Belgian specialty dish vol au vent.
