You could walk past this restaurant everyday and not know it exists! Tucked away down an alley next to the Place de Verdun parking area (very convenient if you’re driving into Pau) only the sign over the entrance archway gives it away. There’s a nice small area outside for dining but not an option for us on a rainy summers day sadly. However, inside the restaurant opens up into a warehouse/studio/gallery style very appealing to the eye being airy and spacious with a nice ambience and busy for a Thursday lunchtime. Not a bad address to eat fish in Pau center. Good and fast service, large choice in he menue. The appetisers and the desert were really good and the dishes ok, except for the sole, it wasn’t fresh and was not well cooked (it had blood). it was may be just a bad day for the cook, hence the 4 stars, not less. I will give it a second try.

We had a very delightful experience. We found this place by chance and it was quite difficult to enter because it is nearly disguised between the buildings, but when you get in you find a very peaceful yet comfortable environment. Waiters are friendly and quick and the menu is full of specialties which are both delicious and not expensive. Surely to be suggested

The food was only ok - my lobster hamburger still had the claw cartilage in it! But it was tasty but don’t go on a Sunday morning as the service was slow.
