Oliver Michael Kusz★Moment rating for our visit. We were at this restaurant on July 21, 2025. The traditional inn, dating back to 1902, is indeed beautiful with its decor. But that's where the positives end. We were seated in the back room/hall. The service was clearly not at its best; they weren't friendly and seemed quite annoyed. It also took quite a while, especially for our drink refills. Our order: (The food arrived way much too quickly. Typical canteen fare.) One order of chicken in gravy and one of the famous Berlin Eisbein (in Franconia, we call it "Salzknöchle" which have a lot of meat on it). T

Eisbein and Königsberge Klopse are highly recommended. Though we had a misunderstanding with the waiter (I though I was ordering 2 beers instead of 3), I still put a strong "five" to this place.

Their pork knuckle and the potatoes were excellent. The apple juice was pretty good and fresh too. Staff were friendly also. Seemed like everyone (including us) had a great time talking with each other while enjoying their Easter dinner. Highly recommend this place!
