Not much to comment on the food itself, it’s beyond standard for Abruzzo Asian restaurant market for sure. Maybe because of the lack of knowledge about Japanese food culture in Abruzzo, the restaurant has to adapt themselves to the local market like everywhere in the world. The wait staff were so friendly and helpful with the sushi selections and with the pairing of wine. Everything we ordered; the Miso soup, the sashimi and the tempura were all outstanding! The chefs at Giappo have clearly done there homework. In addition to the food, we were treated with Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which is the iconic wine from this region. Highly recommend Giappo! 👍👍
